Dayton Lane Hall will return to the mound at Camden Yards sporting a different uniform this afternoon. The lefty will likely have a chip on his shoulder as he faces the team that dealt him to Milwaukee before the season.
Even with injuries to Kyle Bradish and John Means, it was unclear whether Baltimore was ever going to cut Hall loose in the rotation. The Brewers are providing Hall an opportunity to prove he deserves to take the ball every fifth day, and he would love to make his mark today against his former team.
There’s no denying Hall’s stuff, but the 25-year-old has struggled with his command at times.
