The Denver Broncos picked Oregon quarterback Bo Nix with the 12th overall pick Thursday night, moving to select their quarterback of the future.

The Broncos made the pick after trading for Zach Wilson from the New York Jets earlier this week. The Broncos also have Jarrett Stidham, who started the final two games last season in place of the benched Russell Wilson, who was released this offseason.

Nix became the sixth quarterback taken in the first round, which ties for the most quarterbacks selected in a first round -- the last time coming in 1983.
